Charles bridge

Prague Castle

Prague Castle is the world’s largest ancient castle complex and a must-see symbol of Czech history, featuring Gothic cathedrals, royal palaces, and charming medieval lanes. Highlights include St. Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, and the daily Changing of the Guard at noon.

 

Vyšehrad Castle

Vyšehrad Castle is a historic fort perched on a hill overlooking the Vltava River, offering peaceful gardens, panoramic views, and a deep connection to Czech legends. Older than Prague Castle, it was once the seat of early Czech rulers and is said to be the mythical home of Princess Libuše.

 

Wenceslas Square

Wallenstein Garden (Valdštejnská zahrada) – A baroque garden with peacocks, tucked behind the Senate building near Malá Strana.

Troja Castle – stunning 17th-century Baroque villa located in Prague’s Troja district, inspired by Roman suburban residences. The palace opens onto a grand monumental staircase adorned with sculptures of gods and Titans by Dresden artists, leading down to beautifully restored French‑style gardens with fountains, terracotta vases, a maze, and spectacular views of Prague Castle.

Nový svět (New world) – charming, secluded medieval street tucked just below Prague Castle in the Hradčany district, offering a rare slice of village-like tranquility amid the busy Castle area
